Pastor
Greg FullertonEmail: gfullerton@knollbrook.org I am a Canadian, born and raised, now living fondly way down south in Fargo North Dakota. I grew up as a preacher’s kid, and for much of my youth I wasn’t too pleased with that situation, didn’t think God had much to offer and vowed ‘I would never do to my children, what my parents did to me’ (no PK label burden for them). Then God’s grace penetrated through my confusion, I received the gift of life in his son, and to my great confusion/chagrin/amusement sensed a call to ministry. After serving churches in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Manitoba my wife (Sue) and I and our two daughters (Erin and Keri) came to Fargo in August of 1999. We really enjoy the community and love Knollbrook. Knollbrook is a fun, friendly, faithful, family-natured congregation. If you don’t have a church home right now I encourage you to come and worship with us, and then stay for a visit at coffee time afterwards. We love having visitors! And when some visitors eventually become part of the family, we love that even more! In ministry I particularly enjoy learning with a congregation how to love each other and serve together as God directs. A newly discovered passion is for committing Scripture to memory, and then speaking it to the congregation in worship – eyeball to eyeball and heart to heart. I tend to alternate and cycle through hobbies. I like board games, novels, cheering for the Chicago Bulls… Bears …and Blackhawks (I went to college and seminary in Chicago), sporadically being exercise minded, and my top two hobbies recently have been riding my new motorcycle and savoring moments with our granddaughter. [P.S. Part of God’s grace to me has been that our daughters have actually enjoyed being preachers kids, are committed followers of Jesus who live here in Fargo and are members of Knollbrook (as is our son-in-law and Sue’s mother)]. |
Children, Youth and Families Coordinator
Jennifer GrieveEmail: jgrieve@knollbrook.org I am Knollbrook’s first Children, Youth and Families Coordinator. I have been an active part of Knollbrook since I was in the 8th grade. I graduated from NDSU with a BS in Music Education. I have taught Preschool-8th grade music at St. Joseph’s School in Moorhead since 1987. I am married to Jeff and we have 2 children, Amanda and Andrew. Knollbrook has been a VERY important part of my life from the first day I stepped in the door. Some of the members have watched me grow up, get married, be a parent. They’ve been an active part of our children’s lives, and soon will watch our daughter get married and in another year our son move on to college. You know someone pretty well after being a part of their life for that long. I am very excited about this role. My goal is to have opportunities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, to grow in their faith and to have fun as a church family. I look forward to giving back to Knollbrook and its people – both to those who are here now and those who will come in the future. It’s a special place to be. I would love to meet you and for you to be a part of our church family. Because at Knollbrook we are family. Come check us out. |
